Itinerary:
Guatemala : the markets of Chichicastenango and Sololá, Lake Atitlán, Antigua, the Pacaya volcano, the archeological sites of Aguateca and Tikal, Lívingston and the river Río Dulce.
Honduras : the archeological site of Copán, Punta Sal National Park (Caribbean Sea).
Nicaragua : León, Granada, the Cerro Negro volcano and the Masaya volcano. |

Day 1
Saturday |
Arrival
Reception at the airport. Overnight in Guatemala City. |
Day 2
Sunday |
Chichicastenango
Departure to Chichicastenango. We visit one of the most beautiful Indian markets in Guatemala with its multi-colored Mayan textiles, flowers and fruits. In the afternoon, departure to Panajachel (Lake Atitlán). |
Day 3
Monday |
Lake Atitlán
We reach by boat Santiago Atitlán, a village rich in handicraft and traditional fabrics. There, we witness the ceremony of those who revere Maximón, a contemporary Mayan god. In the afternoon, we visit the villages of Santa Catarina and San Antonio. Overnight in Panajachel. |
Day 4
Tuesday |
Market of Sololá
Visit of the market of Sololá. Because of the geographical position of this village, located between the highlands and the coastal plain, one can see, on market days, a remarkable convergence of different populations—the market becomes a physical intersection of disparate cultures. In the afternoon, departure to Antigua. On the way, we visit a coffee plantation. Spend the night in Antigua. |

Antigua
We discover Antigua, the splendid splendid country´s colonial jewel. Overnight in Antigua. |
Day 6
Thursday |
Antigua or Pacaya volcano
Choose between scrolling in Antigua or departing to the village of San Francisco De Sales and the Pacaya volcano (2580 mts). After a short one hour ascent, we observe eruptions. Departure to Guatemala City. Spend the night in the capital. |
Day 7
Friday |
Aguateca
Early in the morning, we fly to Flores and the jungle of the Petén. By road and then by boat on the rivers Río De La Pasion and Río Petexbatún, we discover the tropical forest in the mysterious site of Aguateca. Return to Flores. |
Day 8
Saturday |
Tikal
Early in the morning, we travel to the archeological site of Tikal. We visit this incredible ceremonial center located in the heart of the tropical forest. Spend the night in a lodge, on the site of Tikal.

Day 9
Sunday |
Rio Dulce
Departure in the morning to Río Dulce. By boat, we enjoy tropical fauna until reaching Lívingston, a Caribbean village. Spend the night in Lívingston. |
Day 10
Monday |
Lívingston
Relax in Lívingston (optional excursions to the beach of Playa Blanca and on the Cocoli river). Spend the night in Lívingston. |
Day 11
Tuesday |
Omoa
Boat to Puerto Barrios and then we make our way to Tela (Honduras). We visit the colonial fortress of Omoa. Spend the night in Tela.

Day 12
Wednesday |
Punta Sal National Park
Excursion to the Punta Sal National Park. We enjoy white sand beaches and tropical fauna and flora. Overnight in Tela.

Day 13
Thursday |
Copán
Departure to Copán. Visit of the archeological site and its museum. Overnight in the village. |
Day 14
Friday |
Tegucigalpa
Departure to Tegucigalpa, the capital of Honduras. We visit some villages. Spend the night in Tegucigalpa.

Day 15
Saturday |
León
In the morning, we leave for Nicaragua. In the afternoon, we visit the colonial city of León. Overnight in León. |
Day 16
Sunday |
León or Cerro Negro volcano
Choose between scrolling in León or hiking in the National Park of the Cerro Negro volcano. Departure to Granada. In the afternoon, we visit Granada, an other colonial jewel. Spend night in Granada. |
Day 17
Monday |
Granada
We sail to the "Isletas" (="small islands") on Lake Nicaragua. In the afternoon, we stroll in Granada. Spend the night in Granada. |
Day 18
Tuesday |
Masaya volcano
In the morning, excursion to the National Park of the Masaya volcano. We reach the impressive caldera by car! In the afternoon, departure to Managua. Spend night in the capital of Nicaragua.

Day 19
Wednesday |
Flight back
Travel to the international airport for the return flight.
